Organisers are hoping the 2023 carnival series will be the biggest and best yet. The procession will once get under way at the earlier start time of 6pm.. Shepton Mallet on the following.. Wells City Carnival 2023 ROUTE MAP. The procession will assemble on the Wells relief road, entering from the Shepton Mallet direction. The procession will start on Strawberry Way, after the roundabout and end at the roundabout on Priory Road.. Be aware that this years carnival will revert back to the Sherston Inn as the ending point.

Kicking off at 7:30 pm sharp, this historic event continues the Guy Fawkes Carnival tradition that sweeps through Somerset each year.
